Corporate Triage:

Corporate triage is a term Julia coined to describe how the relationship with many of her clients begins. They get together and assess what the top priorities are.

Sometimes Julia is called in because there are problems, but most companies are just looking for ways to go from good results to “knock-it-out-of-the-park” results, or they want to make some pro-active changes ahead of the market. 

Sometimes there is a problem “brewing” that needs to be pre-empted.

Sometimes there is a specific plan at hand, such as a merger, acquisition, succession, downsize, major cultural change, positioning to sell, going public, name change, add new product line, re-structuring business model, selling off one division, and so on. 

Process: Together, Julia and the client agree on the top issues, and tailor a plan to work on those items. They decide together the changes needed that will make the biggest boost to the bottom line, with the goal of sustaining the improved results. Then they will decide whether or not to bring in collaborative help.
